About Us -- Cloverland Properties LLC
Cloverland Properties consists of a forty acre parcel of land and four buildings located in Metrowest Boston at 466 Chestnut Street in Ashland, MA. The site is located on a hill adjacent to Northeastern University’s Warren Conference Center and affords excellent views of south Ashland. Five years ago the property was owned by the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation which operated a statewide training and conference center for 4-H volunteers throughout the State. They sold the property to Cloverland Properties in July, 2000. Three years ago two of the four buildings were renovated and converted into office buildings. All the buildings are nestled in a wooded environment with a large eight acre field nearby on the property. The property was professionally landscaped thirty years ago with the intention of creating nature trails for educating 4-H children. It is not uncommon to see deer taking advantage of the natural habitat either early in the morning or evenings. The setting is a highly unusual commercial environment that would be appreciated by a commercial tenant looking for a quiet setting with lawns, tall pines, and walking trails throughout the property. Picnic tables are available.
There are two office buildings on the property. A third building, is used by a pre-school, and the Mass. 4-H Foundation occupies the fourth building - a renovated farmhouse built in 1850. Click here for photo galleries of the buildings.
The allure of the property lies in the wonderful balance between its natural setting and the proximity to Route 495 and Route 9. It is a unique commercial office environment in the metrowest area. Many might see it as an ideal setting for a school, since that was the original purpose of the property when the Mass. 4-H Foundation created a Conference Center in the early 1970’s. With the renovation of two buildings, however, the location has become a perfect location for new types of businesses such as architectural, engineering and design firms or non-retail businesses in the metrowest suburbs that are searching for a special location to plant their feet. Downtown Ashland is five minutes away.original purpose of the property when the Mass. 4-H Foundation created a Conference Center in the early 1970’s.
